Training Staff
The Training Staff is the key ingredient to any good Program. The Spring Break Roller Hockey Clinics bring you the Top Roller Hockey Instructors around! This group has been hand picked for their teaching abilities, communication skills, knowledge of the ROLLER HOCKEY GAME game & overall experience. Our staff will work hard to help each student reach their full potential.
Scott Hill
Scott is presently the Manager of Roller Hockey at the Sportsplex in Walnut Grove. He has over 7 years of Hockey Instructional Experience working with players of all ages and abilities
Kirk French

Kirk has been the Head Instructor for the Formula Roller Hockey Clinics at the Sportsplex for 3 years. Kirk has been a member of the NARCh Pro Division for 3 years and played professional roller hockey for the RHI's San Jose Rhinos in 1999.

He currently plays for Team DNA in the NARCh Pro Division.

Brad Bowen
Brad is presently the Director of Player Development at the Sportsplex in Walnut Grove. He has over 16 years of Hockey Instructional Exeperience working with players of all ages and abilities.
Shane Parsons
 
Shane is currently the Assistant League Director for the Westcoast Roller Hockey League.

Group 1: 6-8 years
Group 2: 9-12 years
 
Note: If necessary we will group the players by skill level to maximize the learning for each player.
Spring Break Camp Outline
March 15-19, 2004

  • Each player will receive 1.5 hours of instruction daily - 7.5 hours total!
  • Power Skating - Forwards, Backwards, Crossovers, Stopping
  • Puck Control - Stickhandling, Puck Protection
  • Passing - Forehand, Backhand
  • Shooting - Wrist Shot, Backhand Shot
  • Game Situation Drills

This week-long Camp is designed to improve your overall ROLLER HOCKEY GAME! We'll help you develop the skills necessary to play this fast and exciting game. Drills are presented in a fun, yet challenging format to maximize the learning of each student!
