Where are the games: All games are played at the Sportsplex in Walnut Grove. The 2 professional size roller hockey rinks each feature Ground Zero Roller Hockey flooring. This surface is specially engineered for the roller hockey player. Smooth puck movement, outstanding wheel grip, and the safest skating environment around give you a roller hockey experience second to none!

How do I register?
  • The Sportsplex Roller Hockey Adult League is open to Teams and Individuals. Teams may pick up a Registration Package at the Sportsplex or PRINT OFF THE NECESSARY FORMS BY FOLLOWING THE LINKS BELOW.
  • Individuals must complete a Player Registration Form, submit the Individual Player Registration Fees and then participate in the Player Draft. The Player Draft consists of a 90-minute scrimmage with all the Individual Players at which time the existing teams that need players will watch and add players onto their teams.

Skill Levels

The Sportsplex Roller Hockey League offers between 5 - 8 divisions depending on the number of teams each season. Teams will compete in the Exhibition/Tiering Games and then be placed in the proper division for the Regular Season.
  • Platinum - Elite. This division features many players that have National Tournament Experience and Professional Roller Hockey Experience.
  • Gold - Advanced II. Close but not quite ready for the jump to Platinum
  • Silver - Advanced I.
  • Bronze - Intermediate II
  • Copper - Intermediate I
  • Brass - Beginner III
  • Iron - Beginner II
  • Zinc - Beginner I. Great for those new to hockey.
Note: Divisions may be combined for the regular season depending on the number of teams registering. We will then split the divisions for the playoffs if necessary.
Equipment Requirements
  • CSA Approved Helmets - No "Gretzky" Jofas
  • Hockey Gloves - Full Palm
  • Elbow Pads
  • Protective Cup/Jill
  • Inline Skates - NO BRAKES!
  • Protective Thigh/Hip Padding (Girdle or hockey pants) - Recommended
  • Hockey Shinpads
  • Roller Hockey Pants - Recommended
  • Hockey Sticks - No plastic blades
  • Shoulder Pads are Optional - No Bodychecking!
  • Goalie Masks - must be in decent working condition - NO STREET HOCKEY MASKS
  • Half Visor & Mouthguard strongly recommended for all players
  • All shin pads and elbow pads must be covered
  • Players aged 18&under MUST wear FULL FACE CAGE/MASK
Registration Information
Team League Fees:
$2850.00 Includes GST
  • $500.00 non-refundable deposit due upon Registration (April 4, 2008)
  • $1150.00 due May 15, 2008 ($100.00 Late Fee if paid after this date)
  • $1200.00 due June 15, 2008 ($100.00 Late Fee if paid after this date)
  • NOTE: Ask about our TEAM BONUS for early payments!
  • LATE PAYMENTS: Any teams that miss a payment deadline will receive a $100.00 Late Fee for each payment that is late.
Individual League Fees:
$10.00 Player Draft Fee ~ Then you pay your share of the Team's League fees (approx. $285.00)
